Boho Club Restaurant’s new gastronomic experience by Diego del Río

Boho Club Restaurant presents a new concept of gastronomic event with A Memoir, a project that combines history, culture and gastronomy, where the common thread is the memories of a chef turned into experiences. 

From different chapters, Diego del Río will recapture his professional career in the kitchen with tasting menus together with colleagues who have marked his history with a total of five gastronomic experiences during the year. 

For the first time, the trajectory of a chef will be told through his cuisine. An ephemeral legacy embodied in the form of unique events, whose succession of passes aims to leave a testimony of experiences of what he has learned, what he has dreamed of and how the protagonist would like to be remembered. Thus, memories and anecdotes will be captured in the form of dishes prepared with colleagues who have marked each of the chef’s stages.

Boho Club Restaurant

The chef of the Boho Club restaurant, Diego del Río, shares his talent with Juanjo Carmona, chef of the Cávala restaurant (Málaga) and Celia Jiménez of the restaurant of the same name in Córdoba. Together they serve an unprecedented menu as part of the first A Memoir event, where they pay tribute to their beginnings in haute cuisine.

Nothing like this has ever been seen before. Creativity and technique are undoubtedly the main pillars of these three executive chefs whose nexus of union is the restaurant that marked a before and after in their career. For this occasion they have designed a six-handed menu of nine courses enlivened by a wine pairing by sommelier Richard Mena.

Boho Club Restaurant

On this occasion Diego del Río, together with his colleagues Daniel Ochoa, Restaurante Montia and Miguel Ángel de la Cruz, restaurant La Botica, both with Michelin star, pays special recognition to an authentic market cuisine, elaborated only with local products.

A tribute to the land and tradition, bringing the surrounding landscape to the table with a six-hand tasting menu where everything that nature offers and the sensitivity in the kitchen is put in value.

8 hands dinner in tribute to THE CADIZ CUISINE

Boho Club Restaurant

If anything defines the executive chef of Boho Club, it is his passion and admiration for the lands of Cádiz and its cuisine. That is why within the gastronomic days of A Memoir there could not be a chapter dedicated to this Andalusian province. 

In the third chapter “Admiration”, A Memoir combines the ancient art of almadraba tuna with a more casual and creative cuisine with international winks and the goodness of the land with Julio Vázquez, from the well-known restaurant El Campero, Mauro Barreiro from the restaurant in Cadiz capital La curiosidad de Mauro Barreiro and Pedro Aguilera, in the Sierra de Cádiz, chef revelation 2022 in Madrid Fusion.

When your dream is to dedicate yourself to the kitchen, there is no greater recognition for effort and a job well done than to obtain a Michelin star. On this occasion, Boho Club will be the venue for a unique evening where Diego del Río and the award winners Daniel López, from Kokotxa Restaurant and Álvaro Garrido from Mina Restaurant to create a very special menu in tribute to those “Dreams Achieved”.
